Chad Halliburton
Lead Pastor
Who from the Bible do you look most forward to meeting? What will you ask them?
Probably Mary. I want to ask her about Jesus growing up, about the water to wine moment (and so many more), about the cross, about the first time she talked with Jesus after the resurrection, about Pentecost......so, many, questions, Mary!
What is your guilty pleasure food?
Ice cream. But I don't feel guilty. I feel grateful to the Lord that he would make such a thing for me to crush.

Brian Hill
Justice Pastor
What’s the Biblical event you would most want to witness (other than the resurrection)?
100% the Valley of Dried Bones from Ezekiel 37. Every time I read it, I picture the biggest Marvel Movie scene ever!
What’s something so cute you can’t stand it?
Otter videos. I CANNOT handle the cuteness!
-
Crissy Willis
Discipleship and Care Pastor
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about life in Christ?
There’s more. Always.
How many Red Vines could you eat in 5 minutes?
Hmm 🤔 Trying to decide if I should impress you with quantity or accuracy.
Hypothesis- estimating 4 seconds per vine in the first minute and steadily slowing each minute to around 12 seconds per vine in the final minute. 39 vines.
Stay tuned for actual data (grabs 4 boxes and a timer) 🤪

Anna Nelson
Operations Director
What advice would you give to someone starting their Hour a Day Journey?
Start somewhere. I heard one time that anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. That logic applies here. Any time with Jesus is better than no time with Jesus.
What is something you don’t like that most people do?
Ketchup. Eww.
-
Jessica Porter
Children’s Pastor
What Biblical event would you most want to witness (other than the resurrection)?
I am so curious how the fish and loaves multiplied but I'd really love to witness God forming ALL OF CREATION. WHAT?!?! I can't even imagine.
Worst joke you love to tell?
What did the janitor say when he jumped out of the closet?...SUPPLIES!
-
Jenn Slemmer
Worship Pastor
What Biblical event would you most want to witness (other than the resurrection)?
Can I say ALL OF THEM!! Parting of the Red Sea ranks pretty high on a list of what I would want to witness. I just have so many questions!!!
What’s something you don’t like that most people do?
I used to feel really alone with HIGHLY DISLIKING words like moist!!! But over the years more and more people have joined the club of certain words just being GROSS!

James Barton
Youth Pastor
What’s one thing Jesus has shown you?
Jesus has shown me that my life is not about me. Everything I do is supposed to glorify God. God didn’t create me for my benefit. He created me because he wants to be worshiped by me. The world doesn’t revolve around me. It should revolve around God.
What’s the worst joke you love to tell?
I love ALL dad jokes. They are literally God’s gift to mankind.
-
Kelly Figueroa
Hospitality + Involvement Director
What’s one thing Jesus has shown you?
Jesus has shown me that he has THE plan and will always take care of me. Even in times when the odds are against me, if I truly lean in and trust Him, I find peace. Things may not always look like I imagined them but the outcome of the situation is always better.
Which superhero would be the last one standing in a cage match?
The Hulk, he is the best and my favorite.
-
Jamie Barnett
Welcome + Involvement Director
What is your motivation for serving in this capacity?
I want everyone who walks through the doors of Oakhouse to feel so seen and known that they instantly feel like they have been part of our community for years.
What is so cute you can’t stand it?
Unexpected animal friendships. What is cuter than a sheep and a dog who are best friends?
